About

With over twenty years of domestic and international trademark and copyright experience IVERSON/IP takes pride in counseling clients on their Intellectual Property portfolios with respect to brand clearance, prosecution, strategy, brand protection, enforcement, and monitoring.

We have represented clients throughout a wide range of industries including flooring, electronics, health services, fitness, manufacturing, food and beverage products, alcohol beverages, technology, and consumer brands.

We offer expertise in enforcement and dispute resolution including both TTAB, Federal Court matters, settlement strategies, mediation and contract negotiations.

Professional History

Prior to forming IVERSON IP, Lisa practiced at a prestigious IP boutique firm in Chicago, where her practice focused on:
 
  • IP practice focused on all aspects of trademarks, both domestic and international, copyrights, unfair competition, advertising, and domain name law.
  • Counseled clients in all aspects of trademarks, copyright, unfair competition, including counseling clients regarding the selection, adoption, use and protection of trademarks, the registration of domain names, the protection of copyrights and trademarks on a worldwide basis, licensing agreements, as well as the development and implementation of worldwide enforcement and defensive strategies, global brand clearance and prosecution, and international licensing and transactional matters.
  • Extensive experience in preparing all documents relating to Intellectual Property prosecution across a wide range of industries, including trademark and copyright applications, trademark maintenance filings and responses to Office Actions, as well as complex assignment and license agreements and documents relating to due diligence. 
  • Litigation and conflict resolution experience involving trademarks, copyright, and domain name disputes before U.S. Federal Courts, the TTAB, and WIPO
